  1. Love the podcast! Although I miss Dave giving his input … Just wanted to point out that the complete Hobbit soundtrack was legally available as a stream via Empire Online for a few days – probably more of a marketing strategy than a leak. Also, really enjoyed the new production video and totally missed some cool things you guys spotted! Concerning Neil Finn’s “Song of the Lonely Mountain:” The first time I heard it, I was like “Woah, what is that?!” Now, I absolutely LOVE it and I’m looking forward to hearing it during the credits – hopefully after having seen an awesome movie :) Keep up the good work!

    • Hello, again.
Hope you liked my scene write up of the end of the first movie that I posted for your previous entry.

Concerning the glimpse of smaug from Hobbit Blog 9. That is a painting of Smaug by John Howe.

Sorry to disappoint the rabid dragon hunters out there, but looks like we’ll have to wait for the second movie to glimpse Smaug, the Golden.

  2. Hi all; really excited about the music too so I went to amazon and you can get little 30 second previews of each track!
